Alanghe is a project created on the observation that there is a lack of well stored Barolo wine, both in Italy and in the rest of the world. Anyone interested in Barolo wine, knows that the longevity of the wine necessitates storage for reaching its potential. As a consequence of this dichotomy, Alanghe was created. The project is very simple; to purchase quality Barolo and subsequently store the bottles until the wine has reached maturity. We do not necessarily purchase wine from the most famous producers of Barolo, but search for the wine which we consider to best represent a particular vintage. To ensure that the wine can reach its full potential, Alanghe has secured optimal storage facilities in the Langhe region.  We hope that in some years from now quality conscious consumers will have the opportunity to drink well stored, top quality Barolo reflecting the true potential of the wine.
